But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this
all-surpassing power is from God and
not from us. (2 Corinthians 4:7)

Psalm 51:10,17

Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart you, God,
will not not despise.

Oceans will Part

If my heart has grown cold, there Your love will unfold
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand
When I'm blind to my way, there Your Spirit will pray
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand

Oceans will part, nations come
At the whisper of Your call
Hope will rise, glory shown
In my life Your will be done

Present suffering may pass, Lord, Your mercy will last
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand
And my heart will find praise, I'll delight in Your way
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand
As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand

Oceans will part, nations come
At the whisper of Your call
Hope will rise, glory shown
In my life Your will be done

Oceans will part, nations come
At the whisper of Your call
Hope will rise, glory shown
In my life Your will be done

As You open my eyes
To the work of Your hand
Jesus open my eyes
To the work of Your hand

Oceans will part, nations come
At the whisper of Your call
Hope will rise, glory shown
In my life Your will be done

Oceans will part, nations come
At the whisper of Your call
Hope will rise, glory shown
In my life Your will be done
In my life Your will be done
In my life Your will be done
I really like this song because many times it is my prayer too. We often find ourselves powerless to even come before God, just like our hearts have lost the wanting to come to God and seek His face and His love.
Yet amazingly, even when we have lost all these wanting, all these strength, God is still there, unchanging. His love still flows from His throne above, moving Holy Spirit to great work within us, according to His promises.
And thus I often find myself, somehow, still sitting among the congregation listening to the pulpit message, to come to His church, to come to seek Him. So here I am today, somehow. Then I realize this 'somehow' is the intercession of the Holy Spirit, just as when we are blind, His spirit will pray, so that our eyes can be opened to His works, again, and again.
So if you wonder why you are still able to listen to traces of the Word of truth today, it is not because of anything you have but His love. His love set the Red Sea apart before Moses and the Israelites, and the God who was with His people is also with you today, not giving up on us.
Have your heart grown cold toward God's words?
If yes, may this song be your prayer.
Man cannot come before God when he is strong, it is only after he returns to the Lord can he regain strength, and be strong.
